Can the app remove an AI label from a photo?
The app removes supported readable AI label data, generator references, Content Credentials and C2PA signals embedded in the selected file. A social platform may also use its own systems, so the app cannot promise how every service will label an upload.
Does it detect whether a picture was created by AI?
No. It checks information stored inside the file. It does not analyze the visible pixels and does not claim that a picture is authentic when no AI metadata is found.
Can it remove GPS location from a photo?
Yes. It checks standard EXIF GPS coordinates and supported XMP coordinates, then can remove readable location fields from a new copy.
Are photos uploaded for scanning or cleaning?
No. Scanning and cleaning happen locally on the Android device. Temporary working files remain in private app storage and are deleted after processing.
What is the difference between Standard Clean and Fresh Copy?
Standard Clean removes supported metadata with the smallest required file change. Fresh Copy rebuilds a new image from the visible pixels for maximum sharing compatibility and may recompress JPEG images.
