1. Who we are and what this policy covers
ReelFence: Stop Reels & Shorts (Android package net.keyrox.reelfence) is developed by Keyrox. This policy explains how ReelFence uses device access, locally stored settings, usage information, advertising and Google Play purchase services. Contact Keyrox at contact@keyrox.net.
2. Why ReelFence requests Accessibility access
Blocking short-video feeds inside other apps requires an Android AccessibilityService. If you explicitly enable it, ReelFence can detect which supported app and screen is open, inspect parts of Android's accessibility interface tree (including element types, interface labels, structural identifiers and screen changes) and perform authorized navigation actions such as Back, selecting a permitted tab or returning to the launcher. These signals can incidentally include text exposed by another app; ReelFence's intended use is identifying navigation and restriction conditions, not reading your conversations. This permission can provide broad access to on-screen information, which is why Android displays a sensitive-access warning. ReelFence is not an accessibility service designed specifically for disability support.
3. What ReelFence does not need
Basic feed blocking does not require a Keyrox account, your social-media password, access to your Instagram or Facebook credentials, or uploading screenshots of your feeds. ReelFence is not designed to record or upload message bodies, passwords, private photos, contact lists or browsing history. Its blocking rules operate on the phone. Screen-content diagnostics, when offered, should be optional and user initiated; review any copied report before sharing it with support.
4. Local preferences, restrictions and history
ReelFence may store enabled platforms, chosen restrictions, focus schedules, temporary pauses, challenge preferences, app selections, diagnostic counters, on-device activity measurements and settings locally. Such measurements can be incomplete or approximate because Android does not expose exact watch time or interaction events consistently across third-party apps. Statistics such as “time saved” are estimates, not precise observations. Locally stored data may be removed using in-app reset controls when available or by clearing app data/uninstalling the application.
5. Other device permissions
Depending on the features you enable and the installed Android version, ReelFence may request access to usage statistics, notifications or information about installed applications. Usage access helps estimate foreground and active app time, while installed-app access supports user-selected restrictions. Notifications may provide optional protection status or focus summaries. These capabilities are requested only when the corresponding features need them, and you can change permissions in Android Settings. Other services may be restricted by the device maker or battery settings.
6. Advertising and consent
The free application may display advertisements in ReelFence and offer voluntary rewarded advertisements for optional temporary benefits. If enabled, advertising is supplied by Google AdMob or related Google advertising services, which may process IP address, advertising identifiers, approximate location inferred from IP, app engagement, device and diagnostic information, depending on consent, regional law and SDK settings. Consent preferences may be presented using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Ads and consent interfaces require a network connection. Please consult Google's Privacy Policy. ReelFence does not need advertising to function as a basic local blocker.
7. Google Play Billing and Pro access
If monthly, yearly or Lifetime Pro purchases are available, they are processed through Google Play. ReelFence may receive purchase tokens, product identifiers, purchase status and entitlement details to enable or restore access and prevent fraudulent purchases. Purchase verification may involve secure communication with Google Play and a trusted verification service. Keyrox does not receive your full bank-card details. Billing and payment details are governed by Google's terms and privacy practices. A cancelled subscription may remain active until the end of the paid period, subject to Google Play and applicable law.
8. Support and contact information
If you email Keyrox for assistance, we receive the contact details and information you choose to provide, such as the app version, phone model, Android version and issue description. Please do not include passwords, private messages, financial details, or sensitive screenshots. We use support messages to respond and investigate problems, and retain them only as reasonably necessary for support, legal obligations and security.
9. Sharing and international data processing
The basic device-based blocking engine is designed to operate locally. Google advertising, consent and purchase services, if configured in a release, may transmit data to Google and its service providers as described in their policies. Google may process such information in countries outside your own. Keyrox does not sell private message contents or device-screen recordings. Any future optional telemetry or crash-reporting integrations would require this policy and the app's disclosures to be updated to reflect their actual behavior.
10. Data retention, security and deletion
Local settings and history remain on the device until reset, cleared or removed with the app, subject to Android backup and system behavior. Service providers such as Google apply their own retention schedules. We seek to minimize device information collected for blocking and protect any information sent through supported Google services, but no device or network service can promise absolute security.
11. Your choices and rights
You may turn ReelFence protection on or off, pause supported rules, revoke Accessibility and other permissions in Android Settings and uninstall ReelFence normally. Where applicable, you can manage advertising consent and reset local information. In regions where privacy law grants additional rights, you may ask about information controlled by Keyrox, including access, correction or deletion, by contacting contact@keyrox.net. Requests involving data held by Google may need to be addressed through Google's own controls.
12. Children
ReelFence is a general digital wellbeing utility and is not specifically directed to children under 13. If an underage user is permitted to use the app, parent or guardian oversight may be appropriate. Relevant age limits for purchases and advertisements are enforced by the applicable platform and laws.
13. Changes to this policy
ReelFence may evolve as Android, social applications, advertising and purchase options change. We will update this page and its effective date when material practices change. The final published app's actual permissions, SDK behavior and Play Console Data Safety declaration must remain consistent with this policy.
